We are The Understudies, your new favourite English-speaking amateur theatre group in Zurich.
All of us share a passion for theatre, be that through acting on stage, directing, designing awesome set pieces or doing the important behind-the-scenes work that keeps the show running. After graduating from student-run theatre, we decided we could not live our day-to-day lives without the wonderful feeling of community and fun that can only be experienced in a rehearsal room – and so, in the summer of 2026, The Understudies were born!
We are so excited to see you at our first-ever production in March 2027!
